Known to use her looks to promote animal rights activism, Hollywood hottie and model Pamela Anderson is going to use all she can to persuade Israel to pass an anti-fur law. Anderson hopes to meet the politicians in a bid to prompt a national ban on fur imports. “Knowing that what I do makes a difference for animals is great. Animals have no voice, so I feel compelled to speak up for them. Treat others as you would like to be treated,” she has revealed.

Currently in Israel to appear on the country’s version of TV show Dancing With the Stars this season, Pamela decided to use the opportunity to speak up for animals. “Pamela has sent a letter to Israeli Minister of Religious Services Yakov Margi urging him to support a bill that would ban the fur trade in Israel,” says a PETA spokesperson from India.

The ex-Baywatch star earlier narrated a video against the cruelties of the Indian leather trade. She highlighted that at the slaughterhouse, these animals are hacked at with blunt knives in full view of one another.
